The international anniversary conference of the ZeMKI in the 20th year of its existence examines the foundations of media and communication research: It is about exploring long-term trends resulting from today's media change and visions for the future.

The Lab Platform Governance, Media, and Technology (PGMT), at the Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research (ZeMKI), University of Bremen, is hosting the next AoIR Flashpoint Symposium on 3-4 june 2025.

The International conference ‘Beyond Play: The Transformative Power of Digital Gaming in a Deeply Mediatized Society’ will take place from September 30th to October 2nd 2024 at the University of Bremen, Germany.
