Vita
Since January 2026, Alexander Ohlei has been part of the research group “Communicative AI” (ComAI), funded by the DFG and FWF.
From April 2023 to December 2025, he worked as a research associate at the Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research at the University of Bremen — in the “Datafication and Mediatization” lab. There, he was involved in the project “molo.news: Validating a Relational Platform for Urban Publics.”
In 2023, Alexander Ohlei received his doctorate with the thesis: “Augmented Reality Authoring as a Tool for Dynamic Exhibition Development in Museums.”
From 2016 to 2023, Alexander Ohlei was a research associate at the Institute for Multimedia and Interactive Systems (IMIS) at the University of Lübeck, working on the DFG-funded project “Ambient Learning Spaces,” where his research focused primarily on augmented, mixed, and virtual reality.
