Presentation: AI and Student Experience in German Universities
6. February 2026
On February 10, ZeMKI members Paula Goerke, Jule Jensen, and Prof. Dr. Andreas Breiter will speak 12 p.m. at UC Berkeley about “AI and Student Experience in German Universities” as part of a lecture series funded by the Center for Studies in Higher Education. The event will take place in 768 Evans Hall and online.
In the lecture, the speakers will provide an overview of the current state of artificial intelligence implementation in the German higher education system and its use by students. Embedded in the “Communicative AI” (ComAI) research unit, they will discuss how AI is changing teaching and learning processes as well as administrative procedures and what challenges – such as algorithmic biases and social inequalities – this entails. Online registration is required.
More information about the lecture and registration can be found here.
