She completed her Master’s degree in Media Studies at the Ruhr University Bochum from 2020-2022. In her master’s thesis, she examined the communication of female actors of the extreme right on the Instagram platform. From 2023-2024 Sandra Kero worked as a consultant for science communication for the project Meinungsmonitor Künstliche Intelligenz [MeMo:KI] at the Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS). Previously, she was a research assistant at the Media Research Methods Lab of the Leibniz Institute for Media Research │ Hans Bredow Institute (HBI) at the (Social) Media Observatory and conducted research on right-wing extremist online communication.
