Biography
Lisa Spanka is currently a research assistant at the Equal Opportunities Office at the University of Bremen, where she is responsible for promoting and advising young female researchers as part of the perspektive promotion project. In 2018, she completed her doctorate at the Center for Media, Communication, and Information Research at the University of Bremen on the topic of “Representations of Gender and Nation in Museums: A Comparison of the German Historical Museum and the Danish National Museum.” A Comparison of the German Historical Museum and the Danish National Museum.“ During her doctoral studies, she was a research assistant at ZeMKI and a member of the ”Transcultural Studies and Memory Culture“ lab. Among other things, she conducted research in the project ”Communicative Figurations of Spatial Collective Identity Constructions in the Media Cities of Hamburg and Leipzig in the 1950s.”
