Her dissertation project “Value formations in a video-game-franchise” is conducted within the ZeMKI (Center for Media, Communication and Information Research) doctoral program. From 2012 to 2015 she studied Asian Studies and Japanese language at University Bonn. From 2014 to 2015 she participated in a study abroad program at University of Tsukuba in Japan. She concluded the master-program for the Study of Religion at University Leipzig with her thesis on German Haka-practitioners.
