ZeMKI, Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research OpenQDA 1.0 – A Major Update for a Better User Experience! NewsZeMKI-News4. February 2025 We are excited to announce the release of OpenQDA 1.0! This major update brings numerous improvements that make working with OpenQDA even more intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable. The core of this update is a completely redesigned user interface. With a clear, structured layout and an optimized user experience, qualitative data analysis with OpenQDA is now easier and more accessible than ever. Additionally, the document upload process has been improved and is now even more user-friendly. Data can be uploaded quickly and effortlessly, allowing you to focus entirely on your analysis. One of the most frequently requested features is now available as well: Codes in the coding system can now be conveniently reorganized and restructured using drag-and-drop—enabling more flexible and efficient coding. Beyond these visible enhancements, we have implemented numerous smaller improvements to make OpenQDA more stable, reliable, and powerful overall.
