Molo in the Weser Report

Local information is typically highly fragmented: it is scattered across individual websites, social media channels, official gazettes, bulletin boards, and newsletters. Often, there is a lack of human and technical resources to ensure modern, integrated, and consistent communication with residents at the local level. The result is a confusing array of information that fails to reach many people reliably.
That’s why molo (short for “moving local”) has made it its mission to bring together the wide variety of local information sources and make their content available specifically to local residents—all through the molo app. Because local information matters: it strengthens the community, provides guidance, and highlights community engagement. The Weser Report has profiled molo and offers insights into the work of the ZeMKI project.
