The Registration for the conference "Beyond Play: The Transformative Power of Digital Gaming in a Deeply Mediatized Society"  has now started.

On Tuesday, 08/13/24, a colloquium entitled “Religions and Covid-19 Pandemic” will take place at the Université de Montréal.

The thematic issue on “Agency in Datafied Societies”, edited by Andreas Hepp and Stephan Görland, has been published as the latest issue of the journal Convergence.

On July 19, 2024, Dr. Miira Hill presented a joint paper with Patrick Zerrer and Cornelius Puschmann at the EASST-4S Conference in Amsterdam.

Prof. Dr. Stephanie Geise presented her project on creative social media participation of citizens in the German parliamentary election campaign with a poster presentation at the SMSociety conference in London.

ZeMKI member Dr. Daria Dergacheva will be presenting at ECREA’s 2024 pre-conference “The Informational Influence of Autocracies Abroad” in Ljublyana, Slovenia, on September 23rd 2024.

An important publication from the Lab’s own Dr. Prof. Christian Katzenbach in collaboration with colleagues was published.

On 13 July 2024, Dr. Dennis Redeker, ZeMKI member and postdoc in the "Platform Governance, Media, and Technology Lab" (Prof. Dr. Katzenbach), spoke about social media platforms and their regulation as part of the "Wissen um 11 (Knowledge at 11)" lecture series at the Haus der Wissenschaft in Bremen.
