Directions

If you are coming from the A1 motorway, change to the A27 at the Bremer Kreuz junction in the direction of Bremen-Bremerhaven. Leave the A27 at the Universität / Horn-Lehe exit and drive towards Centrum/Universität.

Turn right onto Hochschulring and then right again onto Linzer Straße. Continue straight ahead until you see a large parking lot on the left. As a guest, you can use this parking lot for the duration of your visit. The ZeMKI building (Linzer Straße 4/6) is located at the rear end of the parking lot.

You can reach ZeMKI using numerous lines operated by Bremer Straßenbahn AG (BSAG), e.g. via the stops Universität Süd, Universität/Zentralbereich, Universität Nord, Lise-Meitner-Str., Wiener Str. (Universität/Science Center), Celsiusstr., Wilhelm-Herbst-Str., or Linzer Str. The closest stops to ZeMKI are Universität Nord (tram line 6) and Linzer Straße (bus lines 22 and 31). However, you can also use other lines that stop in the university area. Linzer Straße 4/6 is within walking distance of the campus.

Plan your journey with Deutsche Bahn to Bremen Central Station. Leave the main station heading south (city center). Taxis, buses, and trams depart directly from the station forecourt. Take tram line 6 towards the university. You can get off at the Universität Süd, Universität/Zentralbereich, or Universität Nord stops (see information on traveling by public transport).

A taxi ride from Bremen Airport (BRE) to the University of Bremen costs approximately €25. Tram line 6 runs directly from the airport to the university. We recommend getting off at the final stop, Universität Nord.
