November 2024 “Studying Networked Platform Governance: A Multi-Perspective Approach” Robyn Caplan will be speaking in the next session of the PGMT Lab online talk series “Behind the Scenes – Conversations on Empirical Platform Governance Research”. This talk will be a reflection on Robyn Caplan’s multi-perspective approach to studying platforms, and will highlight the importance of triangulation when it comes to studying networked actors. Using networked governance (Sørenson & Torfing, 2005; Caplan, 2023) as a lens, Robyn’s will talk about the dynamic relationship between platforms, users, governments, media, and other networked actors and how their interdependence shapes the regulation of expression.
