October 2024 ZeMKI member Dr. Dom Ford gave a presentation at this year’s Central and Eastern European Game Studies Conference (CEEGS): “Reimagining Games, Art, and Performativity” in Nafplio, Greece, on October 10-12. Dr. Dom Ford’s presentation is entitled “What Went Wrong with Cities: Skylines II, According to Players: A Qualitative Analysis of Player Perceptions of a Poor Digital Game Launch”. The Central and Eastern European Game Studies conference is a gathering of game scholars organised annually by DiGRA Central and Eastern Europe, but its thematic scope is not limited to regional topics, and it welcomes participants from anywhere in the world.
