On September 18th, the OpenQDA-Team gave a presentation “The OpenQDA project: a software architecture for a sustainable open research software for collaborative qualitative data analysis” at the 25th DINI conference in Potsdam, Germany. Florian Hohmann, Jan Küster and Prof. Dr. Karsten D. Wolf explained the general idea and motivation behind a collaborative project to build an open research infrastructure for qualitative data analysis. We also discussed ways to host the software on-premise at local university IT centres in order to provide the best possible data security for research data. As we are actively seeking contributors for this open software project please feel free to visit our GitHub repository at GitHub.com/openqda. We are looking for researchers at all levels (undergraduates, postgraduates, PhD students, post-docs, senior researchers) to try out OpenQDA and give us feedback.
