Vasilisa Kuznetsova

Vita

Vasilisa Kuznetsova is a researcher and PhD candidate in the Lab “Platform Governance, Media, and Technology” at the Center for Media, Communication and Information Research (ZeMKI) since May 2023. In 2023, she completed her Master’s degree in Digital Media & Society at the University of Bremen, where she was also a DAAD scholarship holder. Her master thesis examined computational propaganda and political bots on Twitter in the context of the Russia-Ukraine war. During her master studies, she worked as a Student Assistant in Prof. Christian Katzenbach’s Lab “Platform Governance, Media, and Technology”. In 2020, she completed a bachelor’s degree in journalism at Lomonosov Moscow State University with a stay abroad at the University of Tübingen. In 2016-2020 she also worked as a teaching and research assistant at the Faculty of Journalism.
