Curriculum Vitae
Claudia Czycholl earned her doctorate with a thesis on Images of the Foreigner. Foreign and self-images of migrants in the Federal Republic of Germany (1960-1982). She is a consultant at the University-Trade Union Cooperation Office at Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg, a lecturer, and a freelance trainer specializing in migration, critical media analysis, anti-discrimination, diversity, and gender. From 2012 to April 2019, she implemented and further developed the perspektive promotion program at the Equal Opportunities/Anti-Discrimination Office at the University of Bremen to support doctoral students in the humanities and social sciences. Claudia Czycholl previously studied cultural studies, Romance languages and sociology at the University of Bremen. She completed various internships in Germany and abroad at cultural institutions and at the Instituto Universitario de Ciencias de la Educación at the University of Salamanca.
