May 2025 The 5th conference of the Qualitative Methods Network, the forum for information, exchange and discussion at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences, will take place in Cologne from May 7 to 9, 2025. The theme for 2025 is Digital Methods in Qualitative Social Research: Applications, Challenges, Reflections. The conference takes place every two years. The University of Bremen is represented in Cologne by ZeMKI members Florian Hohmann and Dr. Philip Sinner with two submissions, representing the entire OpenQDA team, consisting of Prof. Dr. Andreas Hepp, Prof. Dr. Karsten D. Wolf, Alessandro Belli and Jan Küster: In the panel “Digitality of procedures, tools and processes” with the presentation “Browser-based, collaborative, open-source: OpenQDA, a CAQDAS as a communication and media science contribution to research infrastructure”. Workshop 2 “Presentation and application of the open source software OpenQDA and MeTag” will also take place. OpenQDA and MeTag are available free of charge.
