ZeMKI, Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research New ZeMKI Member in the Lab Datafication and Mediatization: Welcome Selim Başoğlu! NewsZeMKI-News25. April 2024 Selim Başoğlu is a research associate and a Ph.D. candidate at the Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research (ZeMKI) since April 2024. Currently, he teaches introductory courses at the University of Bremen while also taking part in several research projects. In addition, he has been a guest researcher at the University of Oslo, Psychology Institute since June 2023. He graduated from Kadir Has University holding two degrees, New Media and Psychology, in 2021. In addition, he completed a minor degree in Political Science and Public Administration at the same institution where he also worked as a Lab student assistant in several research labs. Then, he completed an M.A. degree in Digital Media and Society at the University of Bremen with a thesis focusing on media multitasking’s relation to the experience and the construction of time. During his M.A. studies, he continued to work as a lab student assistant at ZeMKI. We warmly welcome Selim Başoğlu and wish him a great start in the Lab Mediatization and Datafication!
