New Research Colloquia in the Winter Semester 25/26

In the winter semester 2025/26, the Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research (ZeMKI) at the University of Bremen once again invites you to an exciting series of international research colloquia. Renowned scholars from around the world will provide insights into their current research projects and discuss key questions in media, communication, and cultural studies.

“Structure and Reproduction of Media Relationships: Exploring Possible Research Paths for Media and Social Change”
14 January 2026 – Dr. Lucia Cores Sarria (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain):
“The Paradox of Negative News: Disentangling the Dual Role of Negativity Bias in News Selection and Avoidance”
With this international lecture series, ZeMKI provides a platform for academic exchange on current topics in media research.
