New Publication: "'Honor died on the beach': Constructing Japaneseness through monstrosity in Ghost of Tsushima“

The chapter ‘’Honor died on the beach‘: Constructing Japaneseness through monstrosity in Ghost of Tsushima’ by ZeMKI member Dr. Dom Ford was co-authored with Joleen Blom (University Lecturer at the Centre of Excellence in Game Culture Studies at Tampere University, Finland) and published on the 14th of January 2025 in ‘Monstrosity in games and play: A multidisciplinary examination of the monstrous in contemporary cultures‘.

The publication deals with the study of monsters in video games and how they not only entertain but also reflect modern social issues.
