molo releases new app update with new design and AI features

The local information platform molo has unveiled version 5.0 of its app. The update features a completely redesigned interface, a customizable topic feed, and powerful AI search. Users can find their favorite topics faster thanks to the new dark mode and improved navigation.

The events section has also been significantly expanded: new filters, a direct ticket button, and AI-supported event import provide a better overview and a packed calendar.

At the heart of the update is the new molo AI, which processes content locally in Bremen and automatically compiles it from various sources into understandable news items and event listings. It supports cities, media companies, and initiatives in publishing dates and information more efficiently.

The first AI functions are already active, with more to follow in a staggered beta phase. This strengthens molo’s role as a digital infrastructure for local visibility and participation.
