Lucía Cores-Sarría visits ZeMKI as part of the YUFE network
3. September 2025
From August 25 to September 4, 2025, Dr. Lucía Cores-Sarría (2nd from the right) from Madrid will be visiting ZeMKI through the YUFE network in the Lab Digital Communication and Information Diversity.
Dr. Lucía Cores-Sarría is a YUFE postdoctoral researcher at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, currently on secondment at ZeMKI working with Prof. Cornelius Puschmann, who is her YUFE co-supervisor. She holds a joint Ph.D. in Media and Cognitive Science from Indiana University and her research explores how form and content in media interact with users’ cognition and emotion. In this context Cores-Sarría uses a variety of quantitative methods, from psychophysiological lab experiments to large-scale analyses of digital behavioral data. Her YUFE project explores how emotions drive engagement and avoidance of news in digital environments.
