ZeMKI, Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research Invitation to the Conference: “Intertwining and Rethinking Digitalization, Society and Co-Worlds from a Queer Feminist Perspective” NewsZeMKI-News21. June 2024 Luisa Runge (M2C Institute for Applied Media Research, Bremen University of Applied Sciences) and Miira Hill (DCID, ZeMKI) have qualified for the conference “Intertwining and Rethinking Digitalization, Society, and Co-Worlds from a Queer Feminist Perspective” at Leibniz University Hannover with their contribution “Queer Feminist Perspectives on TikTok: A Critical Analysis of Sexism and Platform Governance.” The aim of this conference is to enable new inter- and transdisciplinary connections for queer feminist research and interventions, in order to shape alternative sociotechnical co-worlds. The event is organized by the research project “Sociotechnical Practices of Objectivation: An Empirical Examination of AI-based Health Apps for Diagnosis” and the AG DIGITAL of the Gender Studies Association.
