ZeMKI member Dr. Paloma Viejo Otero will be presenting at the Social Media and Society Conference (#SMSociety) in London on July 17th.

Dr. Viejo Otero will present her paper titled “‘We do not marshal your feed’: How AltTech platforms conceptualize safety” co-authored with ZeMKI member Rebecca Scharlach with the colaboration of the student assistants Alessa Eggeling and Andrea Stefania Roca Rubio.

The #SMSociety conference is returning as an in-person event for 2024, taking place from July 16th to 18th. It will be hosted by the Digital Cultures and Economies Research Hub at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London.
