Kerstin Radde-Antweiler publishes article in new handbook for the Study of Religion

ZeMKI member Prof. Dr. Radde-Antweiler published an article on “Religion in times of Deep Mediatization” in Stausberg, M. and Wilkens, K. (eds.) (2025) Religionswissenschaft: Aktuelle Annäherungen. In this volume, Study of Religion scholars from Germany, Austria and Switzerland provide an up-to-date introduction to the discipline. Radde-Antweiler’s contribution uses the example of mediatized self-crucifixions in the Philippines to show the added value of looking at religious phenomena through and with mediatization approaches.
