DataNord Roadshow @ ZeMKI

DataNord is an interdisciplinary data competence center for the Bremen region, supporting researchers at all career stages in enhancing their data skills. As part of the U Bremen Research Alliance (UBRA) and in collaboration with other regional partners, DataNord consolidates extensive expertise in research data management and data science. The center focuses on five scientific profile areas: (1) Environmental and Marine Sciences, (2) Social Sciences, (3) Material and Engineering Sciences, (4) Health Sciences, and (5) Humanities. DataNord is one of eleven data competence centers nationwide funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

Our offerings are comprehensive, ranging from practical trainings and personalized consultations to hackathons, summer schools, self-learning materials, and numerous networking opportunities. We support researchers throughout the entire data lifecycle – from data collection and analysis to long-term archiving and reuse.

Key pillars of DataNord include the Data Science Center (DSC) at the University of Bremen, which provides tailored training and consultations through its interdisciplinary team, and the Data Train program, designed specifically to equip PhD students and early-career researchers with essential skills in data science and research data management.

The DataNord Roadshow invites you to explore our wide range of services and discover the offerings that best meet your research needs.
