ZeMKI members Prof. Dr. Stephanie Geise and Prof. Dr. Christian Schwarzenegger each contribute to the debate on AI-generated images and synthetic imagery in the current issue of DGPuK’s Aviso, curated by Prof. Katharina Lobinger (Lugano).

Stephanie Geise formulates her point of view under the title “When Seeing is Deceiving: How synthetic images challenge journalism and the audience” and Christian Schwarzenegger poses the question “Riding the AI train or helping to shape it?” and explains “Why communication science needs theories and big questions, not just new phenomena”.
