COMPTEXT 2025: Presentation by Yuru Li on AI videos on TikTok

ZeMKI member Yuru Li presents her research “Delegitimizing through Pixels: A Computational Analysis of GenAl Political Videos and User Responses on TikTok” at the COMPTEXT 2025 conference at the University of Vienna on April 25, 2025. 

In her work, Yuru Li from the DCID-Lab at ZeMKI together with Xin Zhou (University of Jena) presents a computational analysis of political videos created with generative AI and user responses on TikTok. The presentation is part of the session “Technological Discourse and Social Resistance: Exploring Ethics, Identity, and Power in Digital and Al Landscapes”, which is chaired by Jing Zeng (University of Zurich). Discussant is Angelie Kraft (Leuphana University of Lüneburg). COMPTEXT 2025 in Vienna from April 24 to 26, 2025 focuses on computer-assisted text analysis.
