Annual retreat of the ZeMKI steering committee

On September 9 and 10, 2025, the annual meeting of the steering committee of the Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research (ZeMKI) at the University of Bremen took place at the Bildungsstätte Bredbeck (Osterholz-Scharmbeck).
The two-day event focused on joint reflection on the development of the center. The members discussed current challenges, discussed perspectives for future projects and dealt with organizational and structural issues. The meeting also served to coordinate overarching goals and strategies with which the ZeMKI would like to further strengthen its position. In addition, the meeting provided an opportunity for intensive exchange between the researchers involved and for planning joint steps for the coming years.
