ZeMKI Summer Party 2026: Conversations lasting late into the night
On 8 July 2026, the ZeMKI Research Day at the Linzer Straße 4 site segued directly into the ZeMKI Summer Party. Following the day’s academic program, the discussions moved outdoors and continued there in an informal setting.
Marking the end of the summer term, the Summer Party brings together people who work at ZeMKI or are affiliated with the research centre. This year, ZeMKI members, student staff and advisory members came together with representatives from the University of Bremen’s administration, as well as regional cooperation partners. Guests also included colleagues from the University of Oldenburg, with whom the University of Bremen and ZeMKI collaborate within the context of the Northwest Alliance.
The evening was characterised by many conversations. The party provided an opportunity to foster contacts across different fields of work and institutional affiliations, and to continue collaboration in a more informal setting. In very pleasant summer weather, the guests stayed outside together for a long time. The summer party lasted until late into the night, bringing the day’s shared activities to a close in a convivial atmosphere.
