Philip Sinner on Deutschlandfunk discussing Kika's soccer broadcasts

ZeMKI member Dr. Philip Sinner was recently a guest on a Deutschlandfunk program hosted by Kevin Barth. The segment focused on Kika’s soccer broadcasts, in which children serve as presenters. Since children’s hosting was well-received last year, it was also implemented for this year’s DFB Cup Finals for Women and Men and is planned for the upcoming World Cup as well.

The segment addresses key questions such as why Kika uses children, how well they execute this, what role soccer plays and why involving children is so important for introducing them to the sport and creating role models.
