New Board Members for the Gaming Journal gamevironments: ZeMKI Strengthens International Research Network

Two members of ZeMKI have been newly appointed to the editorial board of the journal gamevironments: Christian Schwarzenegger and Karsten D. Wolf will strengthen the scientific panel of the gaming journal.

gamevironments is dedicated to the systematic research of video games and their significance in increasingly mediatized societies. The focus is on questions of value negotiation, social constructions, and media communication processes. The journal assumes that the growing cultural and social influence of video games—and their interactions with other media—requires an independent and analytically grounded academic discourse.
