Collaboration with molo: Digital program overview at the Miniaturen Festival 2026
16. January 2026
This year’s MINIATUREN Festival at THEATERKONTOR Bremen demonstrates how digital tools can effectively support local cultural events. In cooperation with the local information platform molo, the festival program was not only published in the molo app calendar, but also made visible on site: during the festival, a so-called molo wall – a digital screen in the building – provides continuous information about the program items, times, and locations of the individual performances.
Especially for a festival that spans six floors of the Theaterkontor in downtown Bremen and offers a tightly scheduled program, the digital display provides orientation and an overview. Right from the start of the event on January 16, it was clear that the audience was making intensive use of the service.
In addition, molo has redesigned the Miniatures Festival’s website:
https://molo.news/miniaturen/ is a dedicated festival website where the entire program is clearly presented and searchable. Visitors can search by day, artist, or format and find information in advance or spontaneously during the festival.
On January 16 and 17, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each evening, the MINIATUREN Festival invites you to discover theater, dance, performance, music, and exhibitions in small formats—from the basement to the attic. This year’s motto, “EMERGING,” is about making visible what often remains hidden. This approach fits well with the focus of molo, which makes local, smaller cultural offerings digitally discoverable and bundles them together.
