ARD Action Days for World Press Freedom Day: Students from the University of Bremen Visit Radio Bremen
27. April 2026
To mark World Press Freedom Day on May 3, numerous events are taking place across Germany in the form of workshops, news camps, and web talks.
Radio Bremen is also participating in the event. As part of the workshop “Wem glaubt ihr?” (“Who do you believe?”), students of Communication and Media Studies (KMW) are invited to the Radio Bremen studio to discuss trust, skepticism, and expectations regarding the media with Radio Bremen’s editorial board. The focus will be particularly on the following questions: Who can we still trust? What role do the media play in shaping our opinions? How free are our opinions, really?
The participating students are from the seminars KMW10 (led by Dr. Philip Sinner) and KMW7 (led by Dr. Anke Offerhaus). These seminars focus on public broadcasting. The workshop therefore offers both the editorial board of Radio Bremen and the students the opportunity for a valuable exchange.
More information about the ARD Action Days and the workshop can be found in the Radio Bremen article.
